HYDERABAD
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Whip in the Assembly K.P. Vivekanand observed that a period of deceiving people in the name of ‘praja paalana, pragathi nivedika’ programme is in progress in the State without any good coming the way of people.
Sixty-days out of 99 days of the programme had already lapsed and even the fate of applications taken for various welfare schemes in the first phase of the programme remains uncertain so far, Mr. Vivekanand said while speaking to newspersons along with former legislator Methuku Anand here on Saturday. The applications received by the government for houses, social security pensions and other local problems remain unprocessed, though they were all part of a long list of promises made by the Congress before the 2023 Assembly elections.
