The Congress-led UDF put up a strong show in Pathanamthitta in the 2026 Assembly elections, winning four out of the five constituencies in the district.
While the coalition won Ranni, Aranmula, Adoor and Thiruvalla, the lone exception was Konni, where K.U. Jenish Kumar of CPI(M) held on with a narrow margin of 1,838 votes over Congress candidate Satheesh Kochuparambil.
