Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Andhra Pradesh have begun the 2026–27 financial year on a strong note, collecting ₹948.15 crore in property tax during April alone — 35.34% of the total current demand of ₹2,683.50 crore.
Including arrears and penalties, the total collection reached ₹1,010.79 crore, marking a 24.16% increase compared to ₹814.12 crore collected during the corresponding period the previous year.
