The State government has approved the establishment of a new Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) in Jewargi taluk of Kalaburagi district, as part of a move aimed at strengthening technical education and skill development in the region.
In a media note issued on Saturday (May 2), Ajay Singh, Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) chairman and Jewargi MLA, said the State Cabinet had accorded approval to the proposal at its meeting held on April 30.
