Minister K.G. Arunraj on Friday (May 15) said Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay will never compromise on State rights.
The Minister inspected the Kootapalli Lake at Tiruchengode and discussed with officials the desilting and renovation of the lake.
Speaking to the media later, Mr. Arunraj said the victory of TVK was no ordinary development. Such a phenomenon happens only once in 50 years. Zero corruption administration is the aim of the Chief Minister. The VCK, CPI, CPI(M) and IUML extended their support for social justice.
The TVK government will maintain a cordial relationship with the Union government and, at the same time, will never compromise on State rights. Legal measures will be taken against NEET, the Minister added.
On the lake inspection, the Minister said the TVK promised to renovate lakes in Tiruchengode. In the first phase, the Kootapalli lake will be renovated. The garbage dumped on one side of the lake will be cleared through biomining. To address the issue of rainwater stagnation in Tiruchengode, a discussion was held with officials, Mr. Arunraj added.
