Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru Express, journey commencing from July 31 to August 2 will skip KSR Bengaluru and Yesvantpur stations the next day.

The service would also skip Hole Narsipur, Krishnarajanagar, Mysuru, Mandya and Ramanagara and instead run via Kunigal, Chikka Banawara, Yesvantpur A Cabin, Lottegollahalli and Banaswadi, said a release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.

The diversion was arranged to facilitate pre-non interlocking and non-interlocking blocks for KSR Bengaluru Yard remodelling to be undertaken by South Western Railway, the release said.

The Railways has already announced that Train No. 16586, journey commencing on July 16 and 17, would skip Bengaluru Cantonment station and run via Yesvantpur, Hebbal and Banaswadi.
