A male medical postgraduate student who kissed a female PG student while on duty at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital (MGMGH) this week has been suspended for misconduct and an enquiry has been launched into his inappropriate behaviour.
According to hospital sources, the step was taken after a video clip of the PG student reportedly becoming intimate with the female trainee in the presence of patients went viral on social media.
“The doctor has been suspended until further notice, and we have instituted an enquiry into the matter. Action will be taken once the report is in,” a senior official told The Hindu.
