A common online application for undergraduate admissions to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and Annamalai University (Faculty of Agriculture) for the 2026-27 academic year is open from May 6 to June 8.

Candidates can apply through a single portal at http://tnau.ucanapply.com. The application fee is ₹600 for general, BC, BCM and MBC/DNC candidates, and ₹300 for SC, SCA and ST candidates. Guidelines, FAQs and updates are available on the website.

TNAU offers 14 undergraduate programmes across 18 constituent and 28 affiliated colleges. Admissions will also be made under special reservations, including sports quota, ex-servicemen, differently abled persons, government school students (7.5% quota), vocational stream, transgender persons and Tamil diaspora.

Diploma admissions in agriculture, horticulture and agricultural engineering will also be conducted online through the same portal. The application fee is ₹200 for general categories and ₹100 for SC, SCA and ST candidates.

At Annamalai University, the Faculty of Agriculture, established in 1958, offers three undergraduate programmes.
