The faithful stood in neat rows and offered prayers in a spirit of solemnity and devotion. Children, too, were among those who participated. Soon after the prayers concluded, participants embraced one another and exchanged greetings of Eid Mubarak.
The district administration made arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of prayers, including regulating vehicular traffic on adjoining roads.
Police personnel were deployed at various locations to ensure peaceful festivities.
