M. Manoj Kumar, 24, of Vadipatti was arrested for stealthily videographing a woman taking bath on Tuesday.
Police said the woman, who has two children, had gone to her mother’s house near Vadipatti to attend a marriage function. When she went to take bath, she had noticed a mobile phone being stealthily placed through the gap in the tin-sheet roof. She raised an alarm and the accused fled the scene.
Based on her complaint, Alanganallur police have arrested the accused for outraging the modesty of a woman and under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
