Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure that all the educational material required by students in government-run schools and welfare hostels are supplied by June 15 without compromising on quality.
He said the government has decided on the centralised procurement system primarily to enhance accountability and curb irregularities. Earlier, individual departments handled procurement and distribution independently, leading to several irregularities.
