It was a bitter-sweet victory for the AIADMK-PMK alliance in Dharmapuri district as the combine won four of the five seats, losing one to the disruptor TVK. The alliance had won all five seats in the district in 2021.

While PMK’s Sowmiya Anbumani secured the Dharmapuri seat, eclipsing the TVK challenger, the party lost Pennagaram to the TVK. The AIADMK won all the three seats it contested in. As in 2021, the DMK drew a blank, coming third in all but one seat in Harur, trailing behind the TVK.
