Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner Challa Obulesu on Wednesday said that they will organise a special LRS mela to complete the processing of the applications for regularisation of unauthorised layouts under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS).

The mela will be conducted on Thursday (May 7) and Friday (May 8) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Municipal Corporation meeting hall in the local SBI Employees Colony. Urban Planning officials, Planning secretaries, and LTPs (Licensed Technical Personnel) will be present at the mela.

According to the Commissioner, the applicants who have already applied and received a ‘Fee Intimation’ can obtain their approval proceedings immediately upon paying the prescribed fee. Also, applicants with shortfalls (pending requirements) can obtain their approval proceedings soon after submitting the necessary documents and paying the applicable fees.

Mr. Obulesu urged applicants to make the best of this opportunity and complete their LRS application process.
