Awards were presented to 22 officer cadets of the Technical Entry Scheme (TES)-47 course during the award distribution ceremony held at the Cadets Training Wing (CTW) of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, on Friday.

Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, presented medals and distinctions to cadets for excellence in academics, sports, physical training, outdoor training, weapon training and drill.

Addressing the cadets, Lt. Gen. Varshney said the four years of rigorous training had transformed them into confident leaders capable of operating and leading independently. He urged the cadets to remain committed to hard work, embrace delayed gratification and prepare for the evolving challenges of technology-driven warfare, referring to lessons demonstrated during Operation Sindoor.
