The fifth edition of Products of PSG Products, an exhibition showcasing enterprises founded and led by alumni of PSG institutions, will be held from December 9 to 13, 2026, at the GV Fair Grounds, CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, as part of the centenary celebrations of PSG & Sons’ Charities.
The five-day exhibition is expected to bring together entrepreneur alumni from across industries, providing a platform to showcase products, technologies and services developed by PSG graduates. Organisers said more than 1,000 stalls representing a wide range of industrial and service sectors are expected to participate.
The exhibition, which has been conducted four times earlier, is being expanded this year to include entrepreneur alumni from all PSG institutions. The event will feature product launches, technology demonstrations, business-to-business meetings, networking opportunities and industry interactions.
Launching the event on Monday, Pricol Limited founder Vijay Mohan said Coimbatore's industrial growth was rooted in its entrepreneurial culture and the ecosystem fostered by PSG & Sons’ Charities over the past century.
He said Coimbatore, with a population of around three million, contributes nearly one per cent of India’s Gross Domestic Product and has developed a diverse industrial base encompassing textiles, pumps, motors, precision engineering, healthcare, technology and services.
Mr. Mohan noted that the city’s entrepreneurs have traditionally supported innovation and new product development, helping create an ecosystem that encouraged manufacturing and industrial growth.
Recalling the role of PSG in shaping Coimbatore’s industrial landscape, he said machine tool exhibitions organised on the PSG campus from 1988 exposed local entrepreneurs to new technologies and manufacturing practices, leading to diversification of industries in the region. These exhibitions later moved to the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex after its establishment.
The resulting growth of precision engineering and component manufacturing enabled local micro, small and medium enterprises to become suppliers to several major companies operating in India, he said.
