Minister for Tourism and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh has offered full support to the Telugu film ecosystem and the emerging ‘creative economy’ in and around Tirupati.
Film producer and founder of Paradox Pictures, Kavya, met the Minister along with film actor Jayanth recently in Tirupati and submitted a representation to develop the film ecosystem in Tirupati, in tune with her firm’s long-term vision of producing large-scale and pan-Indian films extensively within Andhra Pradesh.
An NRI with roots in Tirupati, Ms. Kavya also showed the rushes of her upcoming films featuring actors and performers from across the world. She also explained the region’s promising potential in view of its contiguity to Tamil Nadu and the scope for collaboration with the Tamil film industry.
