A 26-year-old autorickshaw driver succumbed to injuries after he was allegedly assaulted by his neighbour over a trivial dispute in Padayanapura, under J.J. Nagar Police Station limits.
The deceased, identified as Mubarak, was involved in an argument with the accused, Tabrez, on Friday around 10 a.m., reportedly over a missing seat in his autorickshaw and a related parking issue. The probe revealed that Mubarak, who got married a year ago and was living with his wife in the same neighbourhood as Tabrez, used to park his vehicle outside the house. The accused would get irritated and object to the parking, and on Friday, allegedly took away the autorikshaw seat in a fit of anger.
