A 10-year-old boy died after the staircase of a defunct water tank collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar district. Officials said five children had climbed the old water tank on Saturday. While they were coming down, the staircase suddenly gave way, causing three of them to fall from the structure.
