Lanes of Bharathi Park in Coimbatore witnessed celebrations from Monday morning as cadre of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) thronged roads, with party flags and shawls.
The residential area close to the vote counting centre was the centre of their celebrations as the party’s candidates continued to secure leads in over 100 seats across the State. Women cadre came in groups from different parts of the district to join celebrations.
