Administrative sanction has been granted to road works totalling ₹1.80 crore in various grama panchayats in the Sulthan Bathery Assembly constituency. The funds have been sanctioned from the asset development fund of Sulthan Bathery MLA I.C. Balakrishnan.
In Noolpuzha grama panchayat, ₹20 lakh was sanctioned for tarring the Naikkatti–Mathamangalam-Pulimaram Kavala road, ₹15 lakh for tarring the Karyambadi Paniya Unnathi road, and ₹20 lakh for the formation work of the Chithralakkara Vayal Varambu road.
In Ambalavayal grama panchayat, ₹15 lakh was sanctioned for tarring the Menonmukku–Kottoor road, ₹15 lakh for concreting the Kottambam Karachal road, ₹10 lakh for tarring the Vaduvanchal Mallamkolli road, ₹15 lakh for tarring the Cheruvayal Pangaleri road, and ₹10 lakh for tarring and culvert construction on the Aanappara Ration Shop Chakroot Vayal road.
An amount of ₹10 lakh each was also sanctioned for concreting the Pottankolli–M.C. road and the Karimpamkunnu–Kavu road (Cheengeri), while ₹20 lakh was allotted for concreting the Pottankolli–Cheruvayal Guptan road. Another ₹10 lakh was sanctioned for constructing a side protection wall and concreting works on the Mezhukuthiri Company–Kottambam road.
In Pulpally grama panchayat, ₹10 lakh was sanctioned for tarring the Shankunnikavala–Gandhinagar Unnathi road.
