Following a call given by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, party leaders and cadre on Tuesday launched a statewide protest campaign titled ‘Two Years of Betrayal’ against the NDA government headed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The campaign was formally launched at the party’s district office in Maddilapalem under the leadership of district YSRCP president K.K. Raju. On the occasion, he unveiled a poster and a booklet titled ‘Two Years of Betrayal’, outlining what the party described as the government’s failures and unfulfilled promises.
Addressing party workers, Mr. Raju alleged that Andhra Pradesh had witnessed two years of misgovernance marked by anti-people policies, political vendetta and diversionary tactics. He accused the government of attempting to conceal its shortcomings by misleading the public and shifting focus away from key issues through what he termed false narratives.
As part of the campaign, protests will be organised at all mandal headquarters on June 4, Town Hall meetings will be held on June 8 and 9, and large-scale rallies will be taken out on June 12, he said.
Mr. Raju added that the party had enabled the public to access and download the campaign booklet and posters through QR codes.
