The new Gram Street Coffee in Gurugram is serious about its coffees and gelatos and seems to have taken social media by storm. Decked in all things lilac and chrome, from the merch wall to the tables, Gram Street Coffee by Chef Vanshika Bhatia is a 14-seater café at Arjun Marg at DLF Phase 1 — the first of many that are in the pipeline.
The brand that originated from Gurugram – which puts the ‘Gram’ in Gram Street focusses on coffee, matcha, food, and Italian gelato with a model that is high-frequency, high-quality, and built for scale. Vanshika, who trained at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu and is the founder of Petite Pie Shop says, “I opened Gram Street because I wanted to improve the everyday coffee shop experience for people with coffee roasted and made intentionally for different drinks, pairing it with food that is fresh in concept and flavours.”

So when it comes to coffee sourcing, Gram Street is as serious as it gets. “We source our beans from three different places. Concrete is our full-bodied roast from Karnataka with a strong aroma which is 85% Arabica and 15% Robusta. Commute is our balanced and caramel-toned roast from Andhra Pradesh and Community from Nagaland is 100% Arabica and is citrus-forward. The coffee beans are also available for retail at the cafes and we will be launching pour overs soon,” she shares.
The menu has a lot going on with a variety of coffee drinks – both hot and cold – bakes, munchies, salads, granola bowls, toasties, sandwiches, wraps and baked desserts. Their signature Gram Steet Latte is a citrus-forward blueberry foam cold coffee with a smooth and refreshing mouthfeel. For a more decadent experience, the Croissant Gelato Latte is right up there with its nutty, sweet-savoury notes. Even though we are not big fans of the green gold, we still liked the taste of the mild and refreshing Coconut Cloud Matcha with coconut water – we can totally see us dropping in here just for this cool drink in the summers.

For a café this small, the menu certainly has quite a few options to choose from. The Aspara-go-go puff with asparagus and bechamel cheese sauce is creamy and hits the right savoury spot. K-Spice Shroom puff is spicy with mushroom that feels almost pickled in its texture. The Cream of Chicken Croissant is a comforting, no-fuss classic with creamy chicken pieces encased in a flaky, buttery pastry. The highlights for our meal include the Clean Girl Bagel with a nutty, spiced carrots filling and the colourful and crisp kale and quinoa salad called Good Decisions – indeed! While the bakes arrive fresh from the base kitchen a few kilometres away, the sandwiches, wraps and salads are assembled right there at the café.
For the sweet section, the Blueberry Cream Cheese Brioche is a solid bet, but the Snickers Choux is the ultimate move if you’re looking for something truly indulgent. Before committing, though, let the gelato counter tempt you. These silk-smooth scoops are churned in authentic Bologna-sourced Carpigiani machines, with fresh batches appearing every 15 minutes. The Croissant Gelato is a total standout for its deep, caramelised notes, while the Frozen Yogurt garnished with granola and poached pear is an absolute mood. Other highlights include Pistachio, Biscoff and Smokey Chocolate. So, while you might initially head to the cafe just for the gram-worthy lilac aesthetic, you’ll find yourself sticking around for the serious craftsmanship. Come for the photos; stay for the pours!
