The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Sultanate of Oman, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in research, innovation, academic exchange, and technology development.
The agreement was signed during the visit of a high-level delegation from UTAS, led by Dr. Saeed bin Hamad bin Saeed Al-Rubaie, Vice Chancellor of UTAS, Oman. The delegation was received by Dr. Maneesha V Ramesh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and UNESCO Chair on Experiential Learning for Sustainable Innovation & Development.
The MoU establishes a five-year framework for collaboration that includes joint research publications, faculty exchange, and semester-abroad opportunities for students.
