Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, offering the most detailed look yet at Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the upcoming superhero film takes place four years after Peter erased himself from the memories of everyone he loved to save the multiverse. With no one remembering his identity, Peter now lives a solitary life in New York, dedicating himself entirely to protecting the city as Spider-Man.

The new trailer reveals that this commitment comes at a significant cost. As Peter pushes himself harder than ever, his abilities begin to evolve in unexpected ways, hinting at a dangerous transformation that threatens both his physical and mental stability.

The footage showcases moments where Spider-Man appears unable to fully control his powers, setting up one of the character’s most personal struggles to date.

Among the trailer’s biggest surprises is a major showdown between Spider-Man and Bruce Banner’s Hulk, played once again by Mark Ruffalo. The confrontation appears to be one of the film’s central action sequences, though the reasons behind the clash remain unclear.

The footage also revisits Peter’s emotional isolation. After sacrificing his personal relationships at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, he must now watch as the people he once loved move forward without him. Earlier footage shown at CinemaCon revealed that Zendaya’s MJ has begun a new relationship, underscoring the consequences of Peter’s decision.

Alongside Holland, the film features returning cast members Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo. New additions include Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Marvin Jones II.
