With the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) recording early leads, the police on Monday intensified security arrangements around TVK leader Vijay’s residence in Neelankarai and his party office in Panaiyur.

A strong bandobust was deployed in and around the locations to prevent any untoward incidents. Senior police officials monitored the situation closely as additional personnel were stationed in key areas. Personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and the Greater Chennai City Police were posted at the house for protection. Senior police officers from the Greater Chennai City Police reached the spot and discussed bandobust plan.
