(the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 28 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 1,298.73 mcft. Rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Friday was (in mm): Veerapandi 2.8, Elumalai 1.5, Uthamapalayam 0.6 and Sothupparai dam 0.2.
