A 25-year-old woman, S. Muthu of Sellur, ended her life after strangulating her five-year-old daughter Thulasi at her mother’s house in Bethaniyapuram following a quarrel with her mother late on Tuesday evening.
Police said the woman, along with her two children, had come to her mother’s house as her children had summer vacation. Following a quarrel with her mother, Muthu strangulating her daughter, and then ended her life.
The bodies have been taken to Government Rajaji Hospital. Karimedu police are investigating.
