Making a strong pitch for national project status to the Pranahita-Chevella Project, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said the onus lies with the Central government to grant the status to one major irrigation project in Telangana as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
He made an appeal to this effect to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the latter’s State visit on May 10.
