The Telangana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Commission categorically stated that highly toxic pesticides harmful to human health and pesticides banned by the Central or State governments must not be made available for sale online.
The Commission headed by M Kodanda Reddy held a meeting with Agriculture Department officials and representatives of Amazon to discuss the online sale of fertilizers and pesticides, particularly the risks posed by highly toxic and banned chemicals.
