The State Tribal Welfare Department (TWD) will deploy Ei Mindspark, an adaptive and AI-driven self-learning platform, across all 322 Ashram schools in Telangana. The programme aims at extending personalised digital learning support to more than 50,000 students in all 33 districts.

The programme, funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), will be implemented in partnership with Educational Initiatives Private Limited (Ei). And as part of the phased rollout, 100 additional schools will be brought under the programme by June 2026, taking the total number of schools to nearly 250. The complete implementation across all schools would be achieved within the year, officials said.

Mindspark platform is designed to address the gaps in education such as limited prior exposure to formal education, varying learning levels, and challenges for teachers in providing individualised support. The platform through structured digital practice is tailored to each student’s learning level in Telugu, English and Mathematics. It also provides teachers with data on student progress and common learning gaps to support classroom planning.

Director (TWD) Santhosh B.M. said technology would strengthen classroom teaching by helping teachers better understand students’ learning needs while giving children personalised academic support.

According to senior Vice President at Ei, Vivek Sehgal, the initiative’s success would depend on strong school coordination, infrastructure readiness and regular academic monitoring. The department and Ei will jointly review implementation challenges and provide academic and technical support to schools.
