A 13-year-old boy who was addicted to video games ended his life in Salem on Friday (May 1, 2026).
According to the police, Vaitheeswaran, son of Shanmugavel of Nethimedu in Salem Corporation, was studying in Class VII at a government-aided school in Shevapet. He was addicted to video games and his parents had warned him not to play the game.
