The Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district has emerged as the top-performing district in the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2026, recording a pass percentage of 99.11%, well above the State average of 91.37%, according to the results declared on Tuesday by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh.

Of the 1,343 candidates who appeared for the examination from the district, 1,331 qualified. Girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 99.56% against 98.64%.
