Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that the majority of petitions received during Praja Darbars were related to Indiramma houses and announced that the second phase of Indiramma Housing Scheme sanctions would be issued by the end of May.
He blamed the previous government’s 'failures' for the shortage of houses, and said that the high demand for houses at Praja Darbars indicates how the BRS government totally neglected housing. The Congress government is directly depositing housing construction assistance into beneficiaries’ bank accounts every Monday to expedite the work, he said.
