The Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University celebrated World Dance Day here on Wednesday (April 29), showcasing a vibrant blend of classical dance, music, and theatre.
The programme was inaugurated by noted Bharatanatyam guru and author K. Ramamurthy Rao, who reflected on the evolution of dance, tracing its origins and development.
