Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State president alleges that YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has built his politics around falsehood and vendetta.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s periodic press conferences were intended solely to divert public attention from the NDA government’s development and welfare initiatives, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said in a statement on Saturday.
“Mr. Jagan appears before the media to create political noise and sustain a narrative detached from ground reality,” he said.
Stating that Andhra Pradesh had succeeded in attracting major investments in the last few months, he said, “As the State is moving decisively on the path of development, Mr. Jagan is unable to reconcile himself to the changing political and administrative situation,” Mr. Srinivasa Rao said.
Questioning the YSRCP government’s record, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said the previous administration had failed to create any lasting development infrastructure or institutional reform.
Referring to the murder of former MP Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, the TDP leader said the change in narrative raised serious questions.
“Was it not the YSRCP that initially described it as a cardiac arrest? Was it not Mr. Jagan who demanded a CBI investigation?” Mr. Srinivasa Rao asked.
Questioning why no clarity had emerged in the case during the YSRCP term, he denounced renewed attempt to link the case to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. People would no longer endorse faction-driven politics, he said.
