The Alluri Sitharama Raju district Police on Friday unveiled a cricket coaching camp for the tribal students of CAHS School in Paderu, with the support of Sarda Metals and Alloys Private Limited, Kottavalasa.
Speaking during the launch of the camp, Superintendent of Police Amit Bardar said the objective of this initiative is to identify and nurture sports talent among tribal youth, encourage their interest in sports and keep them away from negative influences. The training programme will be conducted for 25 days, he added.
