BJP leader K. Surendran on Tuesday alleged that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) had indirectly supported the United Democratic Front (UDF) in the Manjeswaram Assembly constituency, where he contested as the NDA candidate in the Assembly polls.
Mr. Surendran, claimed that the LDF’s vote share dropped by over 20,000, which, he said, indicated tacit support for the UDF.
Mr. Surendran further alleged there was a bid to engineer communal consolidation in the constituency.
