Pressure was less and composure of the guys just shone through: Kohli

At this very venue last year, Virat Kohli sank to the ground and held back tears when Royal Challengers Bengaluru broke a long drought to clinch a maiden IPL trophy. On Sunday (May 31, 2026), Kohli was far less emotional when RCB successfully defended the title. There was no novelty to celebrate this year, just the satisfaction of a thorough professional getting the job done. Kohli was clinical with the bat, striking an unbeaten 42-ball 75 to lead the RCB chase. His confidence reflected the feeling in a team which stayed ahead of the pack right from the early phase of the competition.
