The Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL) has invited bids for construction of two landmark office towers as part of the proposed Quantum Valley Tech Park in Amaravati capital city of Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated contract value of ₹958 crore.

These twin towers are yet another tallest structures among the civil constructions in the capital city, after the General Administration Department (GAD) and Secretariat iconic towers, which are under progress.

As per the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in building a world-class capital city, the authorities have proposed these iconic structures.

The proposed Twin Office Towers (T1 and T2) under the Amaravati Quantum Valley project will be constructed on a 10-acre site along the Seed Access Road in Amaravati.

Though it was mentioned as 4.83 acres in the tender document, the AIGCL engineering officials told The Hindu that it was wrongly entered in the document and could be corrected as 10 acres.

The site was allotted through G.O. Ms. No. 226 dated November 12, 2025. The towers would come up adjacent to the proposed Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre (AQCC) within the 50-acre Quantum Valley campus at Rayapudi village. The Phase-I development includes the twin towers and the quantum research facility, with the towers planned to rise to 206.2 metres (Basements+Ground+47 floors).

According to the tender document available on AP e-procurement platform currently (June 25), the project involves construction of Shell and Core works for Twin Office Towers (T1 and T2), to be built on either side of the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre.

The towers will feature raft or pile-raft foundations, reinforced cement concrete (RCC) cores, post-tensioned and conventional beams and slabs, waterproofing systems, and expansion joints. The buildings are also required to comply with EDGE Advanced green building certification standards.

The project will be executed under a Design and Build Lump Sum Contract system and is scheduled for completion in 24 months, followed by a defect liability period of 36 months.

AGICL has specified that only Special Class Civil Contractors registered with the Government of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to participate in the tender process.

Apart from engineering and construction requirements, the project includes detailed environmental and social compliance provisions. Contractors will be required to submit Environmental and Social Management Plans, safety protocols, quality assurance measures, logistics plans, and execution schedules as part of their technical proposals.

The Quantum Valley Tech Park is envisaged as a major technology and innovation hub in Andhra Pradesh, with the proposed twin towers expected to provide high-quality office infrastructure for companies and institutions associated with quantum computing, advanced technologies, research, and innovation-driven industries. The project forms a key component of the State's efforts to develop Amaravati as a knowledge and technology-driven capital city.
