The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results of the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations on April 30, at 11 a.m., officials said.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results of the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) board examinations on Thursday (April 30, 2026) at 11 a.m., officials said. Tamil Nadu recorded 99.9% pass rate this year; girls student outperformed boys.

Parents and students can access the official CISCE websites for downloading the scorecards. Over 3.6 lakh students across India and abroad sat for the examinations. 

“The results indicate consistently high levels of achievement, with overall pass percentages remaining above 99%. The ISC (Class XII) examination recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.13%, with girls securing 99.48% and boys 98.81%,” an official release by CISCE stated.

Tamil Nadu records 99.9% pass percentage in class 10 and 12 CISCE examinations

Tamil Nadu recorded a pass percentage of 99.91 in Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 examinations and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 exams held by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). 

The results were announced on Thursday (April 30). Last year, Tamil Nadu registered 99.97 pass rate.

A total of 3,305 students from 88 schools across Tamil Nadu appeared for the Class 12 exams. While the girls achieved a 99.93% pass, 99.89% of boys cleared the exam.

    5,835 Scheduled Caste candidates register a pass percentage of 98.77% in ISC exam

    In the ISC (Class XII) examination, 5,835 Scheduled Caste candidates achieved a pass percentage of 98.77%, and 3,786 Scheduled Tribe candidates recorded 98.84%.

    Among 19,191 Other Backward Classes candidates, the pass percentage stood at 99.12%, while 74,504 General Category candidates achieved a pass percentage of 99.17%.

    Similarly, in the ICSE (Class X) examination, 17,536 Scheduled Caste candidates appeared, achieving a pass percentage of 98.76%, while 9,466 Scheduled Tribe candidates recorded a pass percentage of 98.07%. A total of 64,825 candidates from Other Backward Classes achieved a pass percentage of 99.24%, and 166,894 General Category candidates recorded a pass percentage of 99.26%. - THB

    Schools in Kerala registered a pass percentage of 99.96 in the ICSE (Class X) examinations and 99.97 in the ISC (Class XII) examinations. In Kerala, as many as 7,861 students — 3,795 boys and 4,066 girls — appeared for the ICSE examinations from 166 schools. Of them, 7,858 passed. Three students – two boys and one girl — were unsuccessful in the ICSE exams.
