President of the Ram Manohar Loha Forum in Mandya, B.S. Shivanna said that the ongoing conflict over internal reservation is undermining B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of Dalit communities gaining political power.

Speaking after inaugurating a seminar, titled, Relevance of B.R. Ambedkar’s Political Thought in Contemporary India’ organised by Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (DSS) on the occasion Dr. Ambedkar’s 135th birth anniversary at Maharaja College Centenary Hall here recently, Mr. Shivanna opined that Babasaheb’s vision was that the community must organise and struggle collectively for education and political representation.
