Of the eight Assembly constituencies in Erode district, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) emerged victorious in five seats, while the AIADMK won three seats here on Monday.
The TVK candidates were declared winners in Erode (East), Erode (West), Modakkurichi, Gobichettipalayam and Bhavanisagar (Reserved), and the AIADMK candidates won in Anthiyur, Bhavani and Perundurai.
