Motorola on Wednesday (May 13, 2026) launched its first-ever foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, in India. It will be competing with Samsung’s Z Fold 7, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Vivo’s X Fold 5 in luxury segment.
The Motorola Razr Fold has a 6.6 inch cover screen with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits peak brightness. It has an 8.1 inch LTPO main display a 120 Hz refresh rate and 6,500 nits peak brightness. It is being protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 at the back. The phone claims a weight of 240 grams.
The Motorola Razr Fold will also support stylus, which will be sold separately as an accessory.
Motorola Razr Fold ships with a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by a 90W in-box charger. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
The foldable phone is IP48 and IP49 rated for dust and water protection.
Motorola Razr Fold runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Motorola Razr Fold sports triple 50 MP lenses at the back: a 50 MP Sony Lyt 828 main sensor, a 50 MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. It has a 32 MP front camera on the main screen and a 20 MP shooter on the cover display.
Motorola Razr Fold starts from ₹1,49,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB variant. The 16 GB/512 GB model costs ₹1,59,999. It will be available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Lily White. It will also be sold as FIFA World Cup 26 edition Black, priced at ₹1,69,999.
