The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hailed the NDA regime for going ahead with a solid development agenda and criticised the erstwhile UPA regime for suffering not only from ‘policy paralysis’ but also from acute corruption.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the party’s State spokesperson and TTD trust board member G. Bhanuprakash Reddy presented a comparative picture of the current NDA regime and the previous UPA regime, portraying a contrasting story of ‘schemes vs scams.’
He called the NDA the pioneer of ‘double engine sarkar,’ which placed India among the top economies of the world. On the other hand, he flayed the INDIA bloc for playing ‘cheap politics’ and making ridiculous allegations against the regime out of frustration.
“The picture is clear. The NDA has the vision to perform and, therefore, has the solid backing of the public. There is no point for the opposition in making ridiculous charges,” he said.
