: Bharathiar University has reconstituted 16 Syndicate Sub-Committees with the available strength of nine members, and is expected to include more members in future after the vacancies are filled.

Three members from among academic experts nominated by the Chancellor, one university assistant professor nominated by rotation according to seniority, and five college secretaries nominated by the government find a place in all the newly-reconstituted 16 sub-committees.

Decision-making in the Syndicate sittings will be easier when the vital administrative tasks are carried out by the sub-committees that now had to be re-constituted after about a two-year duration, Registrar R. Rajavel said.
