The 33rd convocation of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and the third convocation of MAHE Online Education will be held at the T.M.A. Pai International Convention Centre in Mangaluru on May 15 and 16.
Talking to reporters in Mangaluru on Wednesday, MAHE Mangaluru campus Pro Vice-Chancellor Dilip G. Naik said MAHE convocation will be held on May 15. Director of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, Sudeep Gupta, will be the chief guest, while NITTE’s Pro Chancellor M. Shantharam Shetty will be the guest of honour for the programme.
The convocation of MAHE Online Education will be held on May 16. Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited, Salee S. Nair, will be chief guest, and CEO of Unext Learning, Ambrish Sinha, will be guest of honour for the programme.
A total of 1,258 students, including 22, who have done doctorate, from 13 institutes in MAHE Mangaluru campus will be receiving degrees at the MAHE convocation on May 15.
A total of 986 students will receive degrees in the MAHE Online education convocation on May 16, he said.
MAHE Pro Chancellor H.S.Ballal, Vice Chancellor Sharath K Rao, and Pro Vice Chancellors Narayana Sabhahit and Madhu Veeraraghavan, Registrar (Evaluation) Vinod V. Thomas, and Registrar P. Giridhar Kini, will take part in the ceremonies, Mr. Naik said.
