In a development that has raised concern in the district’s public health administration, all 14 Block Medical Officers (BMOs) have submitted letters seeking to be relieved of their responsibilities.

The officers, who coordinate healthcare services across the district’s blocks, have written to the Deputy Director of Health Services (DDHS), the District Collector, and the Director of Public Health, stating their decision to step down from the BMO posts. All 14 BMOs have signed the letter.
