The Tamil Nadu Police, on Sunday (April 12, 2026), arrested six persons involved in leaking the film Jana Nayagan on multiple digital platforms.
According to a press release, a case was registered at the State Cyber Crime Investigation Centre based on a complaint filed by KVN Productions on Saturday (April 11).

A special team was formed to handle various aspects of the case, including the identification and blocking of infringing URLs, digital forensic analysis, and tracing of offenders involved in the distribution chain and interrogation.
Based on the investigation by a special team, six persons were arrested for uploading and disseminating pirated copies through cloud storage platforms, and sharing drive links. The digital evidence was seized from them
