Jayanti S. Ravi, Secretary of the Auroville Foundation under the Ministry of Education and Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat on Sunday, held a high-level meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss the ongoing developmental works at Auroville.

According to a press note, the meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the international township’s growth. During the meeting, Ms. Ravi briefed the Minister on the key developmental milestones and overall progress in Auroville over the past five years.

The Secretary described the meeting as highly fruitful and said Mr. Pradhan assured Auroville of Centre’s sustained support for all future initiatives. The meeting underscored the Ministry of Education’s continued commitment to supporting Auroville’s unique administrative and developmental goals, the release said.
