Home Minister V. Anitha participated in a massive bike rally organised as part of a road safety awareness campaign, highlighting the importance of wearing helmets, at Nakkapalli in Anakapalli district on Tuesday. A large number of people, particularly youth and police personnel, took part in the rally, which was held from Timmapuram Flyover (Addu Road) in S. Rayavaram to the Nakkapalli RTC Complex.

Addressing the participants, Ms. Anitha appealed to motorists to wear helmets without fail. Expressing concern over the recent loss of lives in road accidents in the district, she said that strict adherence to traffic regulations was the only way to prevent such incidents.
